shawnie2A native Baltimorean and graduate of Carver Voc-Tech High School, Community College of Baltimore, Coppin State University, and the extensive Business Skills Training Certification offered by Women Entrepreneur’s of Baltimore, Inc., Shawntra has loved the game since the early 80’s growing up on the westside of Baltimore playing on hand built milk crates at the corners of Edmondson Avenue and Brice Street.

Over the past five years, she has developed an even deeper desire to watch the game because of the exceptional talent of her son Corey Spence who attends Dunbar Senior High School. With over 10,000 viewers monthly, Shawntra’ has built a non-profit website dedicated to the Baltimore basketball community.

Shawntra´ was married to Harold O’Neal on August 30, 2008, and they have one other son Harold O’Neal III.

Shawntra’ takes no credit for her successes, but gives all praise, glory, and honor to the love of her life, Jesus Christ.
