Rams Drop Poets 58-55

Digital Harbor’s Davon Usher led all scorers with 18-points. Teamate Justin Jackson added 16
The southside vs eastside conference matchup between the Poets and the Rams was a nail biter as usual.  A game with at least 10 ties, Grimes and the mighty Rams upset the Poets in Ram Land.  Usher who led his team in scoring stated the teams strategy was to get to the basket and the free throw line and slow the Dunbar momentum down.
Shikie White a sophomore point guard at Digital hasn’t seen much press but stated ” I feel like a superstar” playing with these guys (Usher & Jackson).    Although a disappointing lost, Dunbar Senior Derrell Edward stated defense, turnovers, and the Rams scrappieness contributed to their 3 point lost. Edwards led his team with 15 points.
